Our New IPA – Wet Hop Hazy IPA

Hazy IPA

Until recently, undried American hops were available almost exclusively to breweries located close to hop farms in the United States. We were given the opportunity to work with these ultra-fresh hops prepared using Frozen Fresh Hops technology combined with Cryo Hops — methods designed to preserve the character of freshly harvested hops through the use of extremely low temperatures.

The undried hop material delivers a broad spectrum of vibrant citrus and fruit-forward aromas. The bouquet brings expressive notes of grapefruit, lime and pineapple. The malt bill provides a subtle grainy backbone and a smooth texture that pairs perfectly with the tropical aromas and restrained bitterness. The overall impression is slightly sweet and saturated with the distinctive hop character typical of “wet hop” beers.
