Our New IPA – Red IPA

This Red IPA is built on a base of Pilsner malt and Red Active malt which is responsible for both the beer’s vibrant colour and its subtle melanoidin character. A restrained addition of light caramel malts and Red Ale malt brings gentle bread-crust notes and enhances the overall malt profile.

The beer was hopped with less conventional varieties — Paradigm and Bergamot — alongside the much-loved Mosaic Cryo. The aroma opens with notes of wild strawberries and blueberries, followed by layers of candied peach, blood orange and bergamot, before finishing with hints of tea leaves, resin and delicate floral nuances. On the palate, the beer is distinctly dry, supported by subtle malt-and-bread accents, a lightly melanoidin-rich finish and a medium-high resinous bitterness that gives the whole composition structure and balance.
