Rodion

We sent Idiota, our base Russian Imperial Stout, to rum barrels from Jamaica and Barbados, as well as to American whiskey and bourbon. Almost two years of ageing smoothed the beer and added rich notes of oak along with aromas characteristic of alcohols that previously matured in these barrels. Rodion is our proprietary brewer’s blend from various barrels that we identified as exceptionally interesting. Our goal was to achieve a depth through multi-layered aroma and taste. The only way for you to find out whether we succeeded is to taste the beer!
