Russian Imperial Stout, Bourbon Barrel Aged

It’s our base RIS, Idiota, sent to bourbon (Jack Daniels and Woodford) barrels for several months. Aging gave it oaky character, smoothened its roughness and added vanilla notes, so distinctive for bourbon.

It’s a beer for a longer sitting, yet treacherously drinkable. Caution is advised!

Do try Bies too, our RIS aged in rum barrels.
