Coconut & Cocoa Imperial Stout Bourbon Barrel Aged

Idiota, our base Imperial Stout, was aged for over two years in bourbon barrels: Maker’s Mark, Wild Turkey, and Buffalo Trace. This process smoothed out the boldness of the beer, enriching its flavor with distinctive notes of vanilla, oak, dried fruits, and the essence of the bourbon itself. Each barrel imparted unique intensity and character to the taste and aroma.

In this version, we enriched the sweet chocolate and vanilla accents with the addition of toasted coconut chips and crushed cocoa beans from the Dominican Hispaniola variety.
