The best Porter? The best Stout? Browar Trzech Kumpli Crowned Master of Stouts and Porters at KPR 2023!
At the Craft Beer Competition – Craft of the Year 2023, in addition to winning a record number of medals, Browar Trzech Kumpli also received a special distinction – Masters of Stouts and Porters at KPR 2023!
This award is given to the brewery that wins the most medals in the categories where stout and porter beers are judged.
The best Stout and best Porter by Browar Trzech Kumpli recognized by judges at KPR 2023!
🥇 Wheeler – gold medal in the Stout category
🥈 Igrok – silver medal in the Wood & Barrel Aged Imperial Stout/Porter category
🥈 Porter Bałtycki Trzech Kumpli – silver medal in the Baltic Porter category
🥉 Idiota – bronze medal in the Imperial Stout category
These are of course not the only medals won by our stouts and porters 🙂
A few words about the best Stout and the best Porter…
In addition to being titled Best Stout at the Craft Beer Competition 2023, Wheeler has received numerous other awards. In Spain in 2022, it won a silver medal in the Stout category at the IBeerian Awards, and a year later in Brussels, it was recognized with a silver medal in the Stout/Porter: Dry Stout category. Igrok, on the other hand, is our top barrel-aged imperial stout. In 2021, it won the highest recognition, the Grand Gold, at the Frankfurt International Trophy in Germany. In France, it was awarded gold medal twice (in 2022 and 2023) in the Wood and Barrel Aged Beer category during the Concours International de Lyon.
We are also extremely pleased that Porter Bałtycki Trzech Kumpli has once again been recognized. In the past, it was awarded as the best Baltic porter in competitions in Poznań – Greater Poland 2021, in Germany – Frankfurt International Trophy 2022, and in England – London Beer Competition 2021. Another piece of great news is the award for Idiota, which is considered one of the best imperial stouts in Poland. Its numerous gold medals in national competitions – Craft of the Year 2019, as well as abroad: Averio – IBeerian Awards 2018, London – European Beer Challenge 2021, and Lyon – Concours International de Lyon 2023, are proof of its quality.
