UTROPA – Kamil Kukla’s Vernissage, The artist from Tarnów

The consonance of art and beer of the Trzech Kumpli Brewery in Tarnów Art Exhibition Office resounds regularly, giving us constant pleasure and satisfaction.  We have already supported exhibitions by talented young artists, including Tomasz Kręcicki and Krzysztof Maniak. We have also been a partner and sponsor of the Bogusław Wojtowicz ArtFest Festival for several years.

It could not be otherwise in the case of the UTROPA exhibition, i.e. an individual painting show by a young artist from Tarnów – Kamil Kukla. The exhibition, which is about the artist’s fears and need for safety, consists of paintings created over the last two years. On the one hand, Kamil Kukla uses his developed and recognisable painterly language based on organic expressionist abstraction, while on the other, the paintings seem to be more aggressive, darker in comparison to the painter’s earlier works. Some of them have been created by scratching / scraping the paint.

The kraft beers of the Trzech Kumpli Brewery matched perfectly Kamil Kukla‘s canvases during the vernissage, which took place on 17th September 2022.

The exhibition can be seen at the Art Exhibition Office inTarnów until October 16th, 2022.
